Sarah + Conor’s Vegan Wedding at Old Court Chapel
Well damn. This is by far one of my favourite weddings I’ve ever been involved in! Not only because I’m good friends with these two babes (or because it was a Vegan Wedding!) but the entire day was so full of heart, soul, thoughtful details (the lakeside ceremony location was made to replicate Sarah’s late grandmother’s living room) genuine emotions and some killer dance moves!
Sarah spent weeks picking all the unique and individual items like the coffee cups, whiskey bottles, mis-matching bridesmaids dresses. The guys have been living apart the past few years, doing the long distance thing, as Sarah (a fellow vegan business owner) started her own business in Northern Ireland (Sarah’s World Fare) making delicious hearty comfort food while Conor has been living and working in Sweden.
A ceremony location set on the mouth of the lough, overlooking Sarah’s hometown of Portaferry was the perfect backdrop as the dappled light came down through the trees as they read aloud their handwritten vows. A great day with even better people, I loved everything about this intimate wedding but as always, I’ll try to let the images give the sense of what it was like to be there. Thank you for having me along guys! If you want more of this type of thing for your shebang, let’s do it!
