Intimate chic spring wedding | Northern Ireland – Cat + Aaron
As much as I love to write, at times I struggle to put into words just how amazing a wedding was without it sounding like something of a soundbite (hopefully the pictures manage to translate this a bit better though) and this has never been more true than with Catherine + Aaron’s wedding. I’ve known these two for nearly 10 years and I was over the moon when they asked me to join them in capturing their intimate and chic Spring wedding.
We had spent some time exploring the wilds of Slieve Gullion during their together session a few weeks before, braving high winds, wet feet, ripped crotches in jeans and trying our best not to fall over each other. Luckily we managed to leave the worst of the Irish weather behind us ahead of the wedding day.
There is nothing better in this job than standing alongside two people full of love and emotion who pledge their lives to one another in front of their family and friends. This goes down as one of the most intimate and memorable ceremonies that I’ve been fortunate enough to witness, yet somehow still one of the funniest (at one point Cat was being married to a Michael and a Mark) Apostles and faux pas aside it’s one that will live long in the memory.
Guys, thank you so SO much for having me along, I have so many endearing memories from this day and hopefully the images can rekindle some of yours.
I was lucky enough to collaborate with some of my favourite wedding folks on this one.
