California road trippin’
It seems travelling out to the west coast for some California road trippin’ is becoming an annual tradition. We’ve been fortunate enough to have travelled to California a few times previously. Yet it never fails to amaze. We started out in LA where I spent a few days shooting at the Frieze Art Fair in the Paramount Studio’s backlot. This movie geek was lapping it up! I was able to hook up on that job with one of my favourite and most fashionable brides, Francesca <3
After the few days at Frieze, wherein I somehow managed to get featured in “The Hollywood Reporter” we headed North, ticking off some of our favourites spots. Among them, a pitstop at Mount Tamalpais, where Colleen and I got married. After too many vegan pastries/edibles/drinks/burgers in the Bay Area we headed back down South, spending a serendipitous Saturday with one of our best friends and trekking the Hollywood Hills. We ended our road trip taking in San Diego, Joshua Tree, Palm Springs before capping the trip with a few more nights in the city of Angels.
