Dublin Surprise Marriage Proposal | Steph + Anthony

Proposals are tricky business at the best of times but when you’re flying in to surprise your partner at the end of her European travels (with her parents in tow) to propose in a not too familiar place, while getting photos of the whole thing, you’re setting the bar pretty high! But boy did Anthony pull it off. Not only did he manage to plan and organise the intricacies of the whole thing from the other side of the Atlantic, he somehow was able to keep the whole thing a secret and extremely personal, including family throughout the day. That’s no mean feat!

Common knowledge (and personal experience!) would have us believe that more often that not proposals don’t always go exactly to plan. There’s always some sort of hiccup along the way. However “the luck of the Irish” was never more present than for these two globe trotting adventurers. There were so many potential hurdles to overcome to pull this off the way we had envisaged and aside from a very close shave under the stairs it couldn’t have went any better!
